Jennie and her husband Bill bought a cottage on the water at Minnesott 14 years ago. With their daughter Ann, they spent summers and weekends going back and forth from Minnesott to New Bern where they lived. When their daughter graduated from high school, they sold their home and their cottage, and moved to Minnesott permanently. She enjoys the quiet lifestyle, her community, and the beauty of the water. She now enjoys spending time on the water fishing and boating. After their daughter attended UNC she returned to Pamlico County, married and has been living in Oriental. Jennie enjoys having her home and getting to spoil her new grandson.

Bill Reynolds:
Bill, a graduate of Westchester State College,
spent his early career on the Jersey Shore. This was the beginning
of his love affair with life near the water.
During his 10 years in New Jersey, Bill was
Director of Sales for ITT Continental Baking Company. In 1984,
Bill decided that waterfront living on the Outer Banks of North Carolina
would be an ideal place to raise his two sons while continuing a career
in sales management with Ferguson Enterprises His love of
and enthusiasm for shore living eventually led him to a career in real
estate.
In 2003 Bill and his wife Pat traded the
seaside for the "Sound" when they moved to Oriental to work for
Sail/Loft Realty. Since then they have been enjoying all the area
has to offer, especially boating and fishing-- hence Bill's
signature greeting, "It's a beautiful day in Oriental" when answering
the phone and his eagerness to show you around beautiful Pamlico County!

Kay Bennett:
Kay grew up in Minnesott Beach and has lived in
Pamlico County most of her life. Her father, Leland Brinson, served as
Sheriff of Pamlico County for 24 years.
After college, she joined her family’s real estate business and
eventually worked for Fairfield Communities in Carrolton, Georgia where
she was an event planner and timeshare coordinator.
After moving back to Pamlico County, she began
working for the North Carolina Department of Insurance where she served
as a representative in the East for Insurance Commissioner Jim Long.
Kay has always had a passion for animals and began
riding horses as a child. If not at work you’ll find her loving and
taking care of her five horses, dogs, cats and birds.
Over the years Kay has seen many changes in her
county from the building of the Minnesott Golf and Country Club to the
more recent waterside communities.
Kay has found that providing the very best service
is essentially about putting “her clients first”. This means being
accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and
responding quickly to your needs.
The “client first” philosophy has always been Kay’s
approach and it requires her to continually improve her skills and ways
of doing business. In addition, Kay has found that the latest
technologies are enabling her to do everything she’s always done, only
much more effectively and efficiently. Kay’s e-pro certification helps
her to extend the range of services that she provides to her clients.

Anne Gwaltney:
"Miss Anne", as she is affectionately known to her co-workers and friends, moved to Pamlico County with her husband, Joe, in the early 1970’s. Anne’s parents had retired to Oriental years earlier and several of her relatives, including her oldest sister, Helen, still lived there. Just prior to relocating, Anne and Joe sold their 2200-acre waterfront development near New Bern. This property is now known as the Fairfield Harbor Community.
Although the Gwaltneys had planned for an early retirement, it just wasn’t in the cards. Anne and Joe purchased a beautiful wooded 60-acre waterfront tract near Oriental, which is now the Sail/Loft subdivision. It wasn’t long before the Gwaltneys founded Sail/Loft Realty, Inc., the area’s oldest and most respected real estate company. Anne and Joe operated Sail/Loft Realty until 1985, when it was sold to their children. In 1992 "Miss Anne" came out of retirement to sell real estate when her son, Larry, purchased the family business from his siblings.
"Miss Anne" has recently retired as one of the full-time sales associates/brokers with Sail/Loft Realty, Inc. Her son, Larry, is the Broker-in-Charge. Anne is very active in her church and community. She is an avid bridge player and known by many for her generosity and gracious hospitality. (Lovingly written by her son Larry)
